Rules of
the floor.
Ten rules. Six are hard (break and you're out). Four are soft (break and buyers see it on your profile). Read them before listing. We enforce them.
- 01Hard rule
Real photos of the actual part
No stock photos. No "representative" Google images. The buyer is going to inspect the part you ship — show it the way they'll see it. We auto-flag listings that fail our reverse-image check.
- 02Hard rule
Honest condition — visible damage gets disclosed
Rust, leaks, cracks, missing hardware, prior repairs. If a buyer can find it under their own car, you can find it under yours. Hidden damage = guaranteed dispute + ban.
- 03Hard rule
No stolen parts, no laundering, no proceeds-of-crime
If we get a credible police report on a part — VIN-bound or otherwise — we co-operate fully and the listing comes down.
- 04Hard rule
No counterfeits
No fake Wisefab, no fake BC Racing, no Aliexpress-as-Bilstein. Put the brand on the listing only if it's real. Misrepresentation = permanent ban.
- 05Hard rule
No off-road-only / emissions-deletion gear in CARB states
Items prohibited by CARB / EPA can't ship to California. List shipping restrictions — we filter automatically when a buyer state is in the restricted list.
- 06Hard rule
Use escrow. Don't take the sale off-platform.
Stripe escrow holds funds until the buyer confirms delivery. "Just send Venmo" gets you scammed (it's the most common attack vector in this hobby). We'll lock accounts that try to circumvent escrow.
- 07Soft rule
Honour the asking price — or change it
If you decline an at-or-above-asking offer, your acceptance rate stat drops. Five+ declines and you start showing as "Selective seller" on cards. You're not banned — buyers just learn what they're dealing with.
- 08Soft rule
Ship on time
You committed to the shipping window in your listing. Beat it or update it — silence on a tracking number is the second-most-common scam pattern.
- 09Soft rule
Reviews stay verified-buyer-only
Only buyers and sellers in a closed transaction can leave reviews of each other. No "friend boosted" reviews — we'll catch them.
- 10Soft rule
Dispute path is the dispute path
Open a dispute through the order page. Don't spam the seller, don't @ them on Instagram, don't threaten to "expose" them in a YouTube video. The mediation flow exists so you don't need to.
Reporting + Black List
See a hard-rule break? Use the Report button on the listing or the user's profile. Confirmed breaks land the seller on /blacklist with the reason and a redacted handle, visible to the whole community.
Sellers who keep a clean track record show up on /whitelist — the public list of trusted operators in the community.
