Drift Offers uses a small set of cookies and browser-local storage keys to make the marketplace work. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site trackers.

These keep the site functional. You can’t turn them off without breaking core features.

• dm_session — authenticated session token (cookie, 30 days).
• dm_pass — maintenance-mode bypass token (cookie, session).
• dm_lang — chosen UI language (cookie, 1 year).
• dm_theme — chosen color scheme, dark/light (localStorage).
• dm_cookie_consent — your choice on this banner (localStorage).

These remember preferences that improve the experience but aren’t strictly required.

• dm_compare — items in your compare tray (localStorage).
• dm_recent — recently viewed listings (localStorage).
• dm_garage — saved garage filter (localStorage).
• dm_push_token — web-push subscription ID (localStorage).

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views and outbound link clicks. Plausible is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors — the only data sent off our servers is page URL, referrer, user-agent string, and screen-size bucket. No cross-site profile is ever built.

Loading the Plausible script is gated by your cookie banner choice. Click “Only necessary” in the banner to keep it from loading. [TBD: confirm with counsel whether Plausible falls under CCPA “sharing” given the IP transmission].

The cookie banner at the bottom of the page on first visit lets you pick “Accept” (loads analytics) or “Only necessary” (doesn’t). You can change your choice at any time by clearing the dm_cookie_consent key in your browser’s site settings for driftoffers.com.

We update this page whenever the cookie inventory changes. Material additions trigger a re-prompt of the cookie banner so we get fresh consent.
